Stone Dust Saraswati Idol

Every Ethenic Handicrafts piece is made by hand, so small variations in colour, finish and texture are part of its character. A little care keeps it beautiful for years:

• Dust gently: wipe with a soft, dry cotton or microfibre cloth once a week.
• Brass and white metal: wipe dry after pooja use; for natural darkening, polish lightly with a mild brass cleaner or lemon and salt, then rinse and dry fully. Skip polishing on antique or oxidised finishes.
• Wood: keep away from water, damp walls and direct sunlight; a few drops of wood polish twice a year keep the grain rich.
• Stone dust, stone and terracotta: never soak or wash; clean with a dry brush or barely damp cloth and handle with care, as they can chip if dropped.
• Iron: keep dry to prevent rust; wipe with a cloth and a drop of oil if it is displayed in a humid room.
• Avoid chemicals: no harsh detergents, bleach or abrasive scrubbers on any finish.
